Reality is though, he's had one fantastic patch for us, surrounded by a lot of absolutely terrible errors. We're all hoping that this is the blip, rather than the good patch being the blip, because we need him to be the player from those few months, rather than the one from the previous two years
 
He has had an excellent season but a terrible week. Needs to wake up and get himself back to where he was because a few more weeks like this last one and fans will be going mental about him again.

Looked like he was running in treacle as well today and not alone in that either.

He was pushed off the ball far too easily, you wouldn't get that with Vinny or even Mangala, Stones is a great passer of the ball, but first things first, he is a defender and in order to defend properly you need to have some strength on you, some muscle, all the great defenders have some strength on them. Are we really going to "revolutionize" the requirements of a defender? We can't keep making excuses, Stones is weak for a defender and needs to bulk up a bit.
 
Fouled for the second goal. Can’t believe it wasn’t called.

Still not 100% fit. Has not been good recently and is making mistakes but hopefully can return to pre injury form soon, we are going to need it.

Never going to get a free kick staying on your feet in the area.

3 errors in a week from him. Back to last years Stones this week. Maybe he has been rushed back so we don't have to play Mangala
