Love to see stones capture that early season form, he was amazing.i hope pep can I still confidence in him cos he has showed what a loyal guy he is by celebrating with Vinny and th3 gang.so happy h3 has a medal.

He said he wanted 1000 Dante and dumped him the next summer lol it won't have a big effect in the squad. Matter of fact after that comment according to one of his bio BM players got closer to him knowing he'll defend them at all cost.
 
Can we please try stones the busquets role! Plays to all his strengths and reduces all of his weaknesses!
 
Stones didn't come across as a guy who thought his manager had lost confidence in him or didn't expect to be around next year in his CityTV interview about winning the title.

If others are saying that @OB1 they certainly have the wrong end of the stick. Not a chance you play like he did with it being a fluke. It is not like a winger bombing on and having a sweet year then dropping off. His consistency and calmness is born of something deeper rooted than a flush season. A chancer simply can't do what he has done

Next season will see him switch a bit again with Kompany and Nico but after that when Kompany hangs his boots up? i would bet a large amount he is our captain for the foreseeable future then.
 
I really hope the rumour doing the rounds is nonsense. We'd be stupid to get rid. Its a bit worrying we seem to be talking about another centre half this transfer window.
