Sorry all, dont mean to sound negative but just dont get why we havent made an official bid....we've rumoured to have agreed personal terms a while ago...why keep the lad hanging? Just seems we trying to be too clever with this one.....

Hi mate....like pretty much every other deal we've done or tried to do this summer, official bids/rejected bids always seem to leak somehow...We've rumoured to have agreed terms and also rumoured to be ready to make a "imminent" bid....and it seems to have been that way for a while.....When you look at the way Txiki does his business (like with Sterling) he tries to "time" his 1st, 2nd and in some cases 3rd bids, often waiting before that final bid goes in.....just like he's doing with Peres.....Just my opinion but for me it looks like its us playing the waiting game on that bid for Stones.....
