I doubt he is going to be at training. Don't think any of the English players have come back for their clubs.
You're probably right, but I'd heard that he was supposed to report for training today. If not today then it'll be next monday so we'll probably have him by then anyway :)

Think today is the day for England players to return isn't it?
Might well be, although I haven't heard anything about Joe or Raheem coming back to training today. Still, possibly City gave them extended leave like they apparently did with De Bruyne (although that was supposedly so he could spend some holiday time with his baby son*).

*Don't quote me on this, I'm only repeating what the media has said so there's a chance it's BS.

if I'm being honest I see Stones a huger gamble and probably not we need right now. However having now heard that Keoman is insisting that he wants Bony in part ex then when do we sign ?

I was serious about Lukaku and Bony. Bony's move to City hasn't worked out. It's been a disaster but it would not be a surprise if he turned it around. After he signed for City he wen straight to the ACON,then he got injured, then he had malaria. And he hasn't handled being a sub for Aguero well. He's a quality player though short on confidence and an upgrade on Lukaku.

Lukaku gets a quota of goals against weaker opponents but put him up against a strong quick centre back and he struggles. He also struggles to retain possession in quality teams where ball retention is premium.

You say this but Lukaku just keeps scoring more goals each and every season. He has his flaws, don't get me wrong, but stats don't lie. And the stats say Bony isn't comparable.

The entire team had a poor second half of the season. Stones' potential is clear and he has his age going for him. The fact that he's Pep's ideal centre back only raises his valuation with regards to Everton dealing with City. The fact that Bony has had a torrid 18 months with City only decreases his valuation. Does Pep actually view Bony as part of his plans? I hear he's for sale, and a player's price is different when he's for sale (Bony) than when he isn't for sale and the club wants to keep him (Tomkins, McCormack, Berahino, Deeny, Benteke). Also, I'd argue that Stones not partaking in any of that awful performance is only a good thing!

I'm not saying Bony isn't worth more, or isn't better, than any of the players you listed, because he is. But the circumstances dictate the price and right now, the circumstances should really put him below £20m.
Oh sorry,Stones is not for sale then ?
