And I hope he impresses, I'm focusing more on posters writing him off and claiming he's not 'on the right level' based on such a limited sample. He's proven he's an immensely talented CB and I don't see a world of difference between him and Stones.
Well i do. In my opinion, Denayer is nowhere near the footballer Stones is. Pep will find it easier to instill defensive
discipline into Stones. He has absolutely no way of giving Stones' natural football talent to Denayer.

I have seen him twice. For Belgium and once for us v Real Madrid. Both times been shit. And he doesn't look very tall. So on that basis he has had his chance and he has failed. Celtic doesn't count and my Turkish barber who is a fanatic says he was just ok over there - not wonderful by Any means.

Stones is worth what someone is willing to pay. If they have told us it will take 50, then we should just pay it if Pep wants him that bad. What I can't stand is when we match the requested amount and then it goes up again. Feel like thats what happened with Bruno Peres and the greedy/poor Italian clubs

The odd one is but it is surprisingly fair. One has just said he is the best centre half in the league - that will do for me. A few saying he is shite in the air but big vinnie or the horizontal otter can get over that.
