John Stones

Everton have "allegedly" put in a bid for Fonté from Southampton, which looks like they are going to do business with us.
Sooner Pep gets to work on Stones, the better, if he can turn Piquè into a quality CB, imagine what he can do with Stones.

Look what he did with BOATENG! Thats why I can't wait to see what Stones can do.

Has there ever been a more divisive transfer on bluemoon? I haven't been following this thread at all but it's likely to get to 1,000 pages if it goes down to the last hours. @TRUE BLUE NO1 would you be so kind to as sum it up for me. Have we **somewhat** come to a consensus as if we want to bring Stones in? Or is it a massive split opinion?

I think it's pretty obvious Everton have us bent over the table here. I wonder how much hard negotiating there is left to do or if there are other factors playing in *IE they want Bony but need to see if anyone bites on their crazy valuation of Lukaku. We can't obviously know but it appears this one is going all the way to the end.

What are the chances of these new investors funding a new stadium? Surely that has to be the number one priority.
Top priority I agree but will only happen in tandem with the council
taking over Everton is a massive task as there is a huge amount of rebuilding to be done on and off the field. We have sold more season tickets than before and there is huge optimism amongst our fans but for how long do you tolerate those facilities or lack of. If successful on the pitch you would suffer the warm Chang and obstructed views but mid table it becomes less appealing. So much depends on the start we get. At home our support is as fickle as any and you watch the players confidence suffer because of this.

The most balanced post from an Evertonian that I can recall seeing in here
