You new to football?
I understand people not liking him, but saying things like 'YES HE'S FINALLY GOING'* is a little harsh on any City player who isn't
A) Leaving us for United
B) A horrible person
C) A freshly convicted sex offender

To me, without Bony we wouldn't have managed the comeback vs Borussia that led to us topping the UCL group and avoiding a Bayern side we would've lost to in the R16.

You can probably guess I have a soft spot for the most criticised players. Navas, Fernando, Delph, Bony, Sterling, Mangala.

Pep Guardiola deflects questions on Man City's pursuit of John Stones

GOTHENBURG, Sweden -- Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola deflected questions about Everton defender John Stones on Saturday but said the club could still see more transfer dealings before Deadline Day.

City have signed Leroy Sane along with young prospects Gabriel Jesus and Marlos Moreno in the span of a week but have yet to wrap up a deal for Stones -- even though Guardiola has acknowledged that they're trying.

And the Spanish coach stayed coy on the subject of Stones ahead of Sunday's final preseason game against Arsenal.

"He's still a player for Everton. And that question is about the market so I think you should [address it to] the right person," Guardiola said.

"I know how it works in England, the manager [decides on transfers]. But I'm a trainer, at the club I'm just a trainer. And I give my opinion, my advice to the club, and after that the club decides the best as possible.

"He's an Everton player right now. I don't know what's going on in the future."

You've done it now you've said the U....D word its SCUM you looking for

I think we will defend better as a team this season. Our defence was exposed a lot last season. All our centre backs have more natural ability that Lescott in my opinion, and he was part of arguably our best back 4 since the last golden era. Our Midfield shielded the back 4 brilliantly under RM
My Soapbox Mate. Why on earth didn't the club realise just how valuable a member of that 2011/12 squad Nigel was, and give him the pay rise he asked for?

Arguably the worst mistake, made by the new regime, since the takeover

Huge mistake letting him go.

I think they thought they were shoe in to get the lad who went to Munich, and when that fell through the decision had already been made.

Garcia did OK in Pells first season, but wasn't fit to lace NDJs boots

Garcia only replaced De Jong as a squad member, Barry played mostly, and Barry was preferred by Mancini when De Jong was still with us.

I fucking love Bony. Great guy, great player.

There, I said it.

Hope he goes to Everton, starts every game, gets 25 goals this season, leads them to the UCL and becomes a club legend with Everton fans chanting his name for a week after they lift the FA cup. Then gets named Captain and wins the ballon d'or, retires successfully at Barcelona having reached Messi-like status in ten years time, and dies happily at the age of 90 with his family around him. Nothing would make me happier than watching Bony score the winner against United in the FA cup final next season.

If he wants any chance of any of these things happening, he has to leave at some point in the next three weeks. Three weeks to save his career. Good luck to him.
You'd rather Bony wins the FA Cup with Everton than City winning it?

Right.
