If we are in for Stones and Laporte. What doe this mean? Mangala has to be leaving? What about Denayer? Are we going to sign full-backs too? Which should be a priority IMO. And if so.....Sane + the new midfielders and GK would pretty much mean 7-9 new players. That's a lot of player coming in....and a lot of players that would have to leave. Can it be done in 1 window? And would we?
Jason Denayer is 10 times better than him and will cost us fuck all and read he would do well covering right back..

What are you basing this on?
'You've read' isn't really a sound place for judgement... Stones also has 2 years experience under his belt in a far superior league to what Denayer has played in.. He has potential but certainly not anywhere near stones standard, who is still making numerous mistakes, again down to the coach he's endured..
Denayer should come into the squad in the same way nacho has this year, softly softly!!
How to you attribute basic defensive errors to the manager?
Mangala will be the most likely sold I guess (though he has improved lately) ... But reflects Badly and rightly so on txiki... 40m... And we will lucky to get half of that if we sell him
Anyone else worried that we'll lack experience next season? Stone, Laporte, Denayer, Sane, Sterling would be very inexperienced!
They are young but they all have getting on for 100 games under their belts in various top divisions and are all in their international squads at senior level.Anyone else worried that we'll lack experience next season? Stone, Laporte, Denayer, Sane, Sterling would be very inexperienced!

Agree with the sentiment, the earlier the better for development purposes. However the issue with that is we have some serious rebuilding to do this summer, so not entirely sure this is the time to be splashing £80m on a future partnership at the back where we're already pretty well stocked.Stones and Denayer could form a central defence for many years. Both are too young to have them playing together now but both will get games playing either in the centre or on the right.
Bringing them both into the fray now whilst allowing some time to improve, gel together and rotate is the ideal situation.
You say he's 10 times better but you've only "read" that he could do a job at right back? How about Stones & Denayer both being part of the defence Pep intends to build?

Build you say? What about produce.
1 goal in 77 games doesn't sound right to me and from what I've seen of him and his positioning it doesn't shout quality to me, but if he's in Peps plans so be it..
this ! being English is the major factor why we are going with this then....our homegrown quota is a mess....making expensive acquisitions to make up for it FFS
No. Tottenham showed the way this season. Lots of young players there and they would have won the title if they hadn't had such a slow start.Anyone else worried that we'll lack experience next season? Stone, Laporte, Denayer, Sane, Sterling would be very inexperienced!
Oh right defenders don't score goals do they.Goals?
