Denayer been farmed out on loan last 2 seasons to 2 pub leagues and done ok.

Imagine demichallis or mangala or otemendi in turkey or for Celtic.

They would look world class ffs

Not knocking the lad but people saying he's better then stones need to wake up.
Yes we all want our youth and ed's players to break through but they've got to be good enough.

Stones is class and will be our future captain.

Denayer end up playing for Cardiff or psv or someone

Don't think they should really be compared together. I think Stones will be big in the future but Denayer deserves a chance in the Premier League. Best case scenario is to have both of them.

I love it how everyone is saying why do we need stones.. he is Shit and we have Denayer.. then Denayer has one bad game and now Denayer is Shit.. Hahaha football.

Stones is a 50m player and technically more. But he has a lot of mistakes in him for a centre back whose purpose is to not make defensive mistakes. People say he is poor because of Martinez, but just this year knowing the conditions he rather tried and bring the ball out half turn than a simple pass to the keeper against Netherlands, and slipped. Happy that we signed Nolito, but Stone was at fault for 2 of the 3 Nolito's goals when they played against Celta Vigo.

I'd stI'll think we should buy him because for all his mistakes, he does look the part. There are not many defenders available in the market and we seem to look for the premium homegrown. At the moment he's just not £50m but he's one of the closest few who with proper coaching can justify that valuation.

Denayer is just raw at the moment. His positional play was horrible in that game. Doesn't help that the LB goes missing or got skinned and he had to cover the space in between. Time will tell if Denayer becomes a Kompany or a Boyata.
