Yeah that sucks was really wanting to see him tomorrow, and yes hopefully if Bony is in fact heading to Everton we should get Stones soon

Getting the impression Nasri's days are now firmly numbered, Mangala and Otamendi not making the trip so close to the season is also telling.

I think we could possibly start against Sunderland with Adarabioyo & Stones as a partnership at the back.

Even if Bony missed the decisive penalty at the UCL final, scored no goals all season and then accidentally broke De Bruyne's leg, not sure I'd go in for some of the emphatic snide some people feel the need to express at the idea of him leaving. He's still a City player, and a person more importantly.

At the earliest Stones will be a City player by Tuesday I reckon, so three days training probably won't be enough. Otamendi-Denayer would be my bet.

I can't see him ditching both Otamendi & Mangala in one window & I don't think it would be clever if he did. Anyone watching Barca v Leicester & Liverpool should note how PL teams need treating with respect.

I think it's probably for another reason that they aren't travelling, or at least one of them. Fitness/injury related perhaps.

I'm pretty sure we need to only loose 2 as it stands for the prem league. Bony and mangala? Maybe nasri? If stones came it wouldn't effect anything. I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure

Last time I looked it was only a couple for Prem purposes.

For the premier league I think you're right but I don't see anybody in the squad that would be happy being told they weren't in the C/L squad , I can't see us having different squads.

I agree mate...someone mentioned Ota went back to Spain a few days ago for a medical appointment, so think he must be carrying an injury! If Ota is not going to be fit for the start of the season, even more reason to include Mangala....unless he not in Pep's plans?
