So? Didn't hear Adebayor going on about the project until he became a part of it.?

Haven't seen him declaring his undying love for Cheslki either.

Pam, the man said and i quote "especially after him making loadsa noise that he was interested in our project" which Jt has not. For your 2nd part, if you're talking after(key word) City's bid 3 weeks ago then yes, but before that he has declared his love, loyalty and his willingness to finish his career at Chelsea many many times.

Surely you would admit that there is something that doesn't add up. Why would Chelsea publicise a private bid for a player? Especially if they knew that player was going to stay.

Terry might well end up staying at Chelsea, but any Chelsea fan who honestly thinks his head hasn't been turned is quite simply deluding themselves. It's a clear case of silence being deafening, particularly in the context of the way Chelsea - in a highly unusual step - publicised a destabilising bid for their club captain, basically as an attempt to exert some emotional leverage and force him to stay that way. Exactly as Milan did for Kakà, it might be pointed out.

The lack of any recent info from the well known ITKs on this thread is deafening.

I'd say the lack of ANY words from your club captain, talisman, etc is a little more deafening wouldn't you say???

The nay-sayers may be right about this deal looking unlikely but City will have sought clarification on this point. Rumour has it that the original idea came from the Terry camp, when they initiated contact with us via Wayne Bridge. This matter would not have arisen in the first place had Terry not sent out feelers to the club. If he did this whilst knowing full well that he would never seriously consider a move to City, the shit would surely hit the fan. This would be the most cynical, and manipulative of actions and would leave Chelski wide open for similar abusef rom other greed merchants in their current squad.

Would City have bothered to make enquiries in the first place unless the player encouraged us to do so If he hadn't expressed an interest even before City were considering any offer. Why bid for Mr Chelski unless you have been given the word that he might not be Mr Chelski after all. If that is in any way the case, it would be a dangerous precedent. What's to stop the likes of Lampard, Ashley Cole, Essien and others initiating contact with City and using the exact same methods to drive home claims for improvements to their own contracts. I'm sure we'd be happy to cooperate, given the deteriorating relationship beween the two clubs and if it worked for Terry, it would presumably work for some of the other more prominent members of the Chelski squad. Abromovich and the Kenyonites would be exposed left, right and centre if they gave into these tactics.

Sorry if this is a bit incoherent at times but I am tired and emotional.

Anyway, Terry can fuck off if he's pulled the stunt described above.
