It was predictable to all concerned that Ancelotti would today say John Terry is an important part of his plans blah blah blah and they would re-hash old quotes about him wanting to stay at Chelsea from a few weeks before the City bid.

the silence from the player speaks MUCH louder than all this.

I still personally don't think JT will come to City, but the press conference means precisely fuck all.

i think theres a diff between the new manager 100% wanting him to stay and the player 100% wanting to stay, JT still hasnt spoken a word and the reports of him and hughes being in the same Dubai hotel are interesting...

TO me we are just being used by Terry to get a better contract. He is never going to leave Chelsea eveyone knows that. I really think there is no legs in this one at all.

We should concentrate on other deals that are actually possible....

Big gamble to take though on terrys behalf and to be honest a daft way to get an improved contract cos basically if he does get a new one he will then only be in it for the money as he showed that he was prepared to leave unless they offered him more cash.

Doesnt do much for his Mr Chelsea image does it!
