Re: Terry misses testimonial due to unforeseen circumstances

Why the **** do we wind ourselves up like this. Terry is a C man so stop hoping differently. We don't have a massive cruiser to court him with.

Personally I don't rate him that highly anyway, too slow and reaching the end of his career.

One frustrated blue.

Sorry if you think I'm a WUM but I'm really not I've been reading these boards for a while now I just haven't bothered to make an account until I got that call before, now I'm not saying Terry isn't definitely coming or anything I'm just relaying the info I was given but a lot of people have said the some sort of thing along the same lines so we'll see.

I'm not claiming to be ITK or anything and I wouldn't have gone to the effort of writing that post if I was a WUM, we'll see anyway, it might not happen but here's hoping.

What post was this exactly?? If it is possible without revealing your source/sources why do you think JT will be a city player this season?? Cheers.
Right ok, I'll copy and paste what I posted a few pages back, by no means I am saying this is gospel but this coupled with Bojinov's PM gets my hopes up, here it is:

Right...I have some information...I know most of you won't believe me, however I'm going to say it anyway so that I can say I called it.

First of all I want you to know although I support City I am not connected with the club and I am not 'ITK' having said that I just got a call off my Dad who's out somewhere (can't remember exactly) tonight and he's been to talking to one of the head guys from Carrington...

Now, this where you will all write me off and stop believing me, anyway...this guy is adamant that John terry will be signing for City this summer. He says that Terry is disullusioned with life at Chelsea, he's sick of the managerial merry-go-round and the passion and challenge at Chelsea has gone. Apparently, I don't know how, this was mentioned to Mansour and co. and they managed to agree a deal with him so all Terry has to do is engineer a move out of Chelsea...this would explain why we're even bothering to bid for him.

I am taking this with a masive pinch of salt but I know for a fact my dad isn't winding me up and the information he gave me seemed pretty concrete, even though the way I've conveyed it might not seem like it. I've heard from several other people that he will be our surprise signing of the summer, as Garry Cook had said, so I am starting to get my hopes up.

I know most of you won't believe me and that's fair enough, I wouldn't in your position but I thought you'd like to know anyway. Obviously I'm not full convinced either but if it happens I can call it, if it doesn't please don't hate me... (:

Sorry if I sound a bit vague with soem of the information but I can't remember all the details.

whats the overall consensus of opinion would Terry be a good signing?
he's the most nausiating player in the world as far as i am concerned, would rather us buy Rio!!!

Good English defender but limited in the moder game IMO of the current ones in the prem Vidic is the one i would go for for the following reasons :-

not yet seen as Mr United
would not have to move
yonger than Terry
better distribution of the ball
cheeper to buy
would rearly piss united off

Vidic looked like a right donkey towards the end of the season , fine rough & tumble player but finds it difficult against the quicker & more nimble player.
Terry can sometimes have the same problem but you get everything else with Terry, the will to win, the drive, the leadership etc etc etc & that's something we've been missing.

Re: Chelsea reject Terry offer [Merged]

that notw article about Terry has got to be one of the worst articles i have ever read. The most biased piece of shite created by a bitter chelsea fan, how that paper sells is beyond me

Re: Chelsea reject Terry offer [Merged]

Say we were to sign Terry, do you think the words said between him and Robinho would be forgotten, no hard feelings?

Because of the 'free' USB and BRÛNO content.

Never the paper itself imo.
