Re: Chelsea reject Terry offer
What a bizzare move by Chelsea to release this statement at this hour. What purpose does it actually serve? No real rumours to dampen, is there?
I can only imagine it some sort of brinkmanship on Chelsea's part due to Robinho saga and the current Sturridge/Tevez transfers.
They've probably been arguing the toss over the Sturridge fee and Cook got cheeky and said 'Ok, Sturridge and £25M for JT?'. To which Kenyon has thought, 'cheeky coont, let's bang a message up on the website to show how City have been turned down again. The press 'll love it'
Either way, there is definately more to this and certainly more to come.
