It's pretty amazing that Fleet St thinks that little old City are capable of signing Terry. Whether we will is another matter.

Ladies and gentlemen please welcome on to the world stage........ Manchester City

As they say...

"Build it and they will come"

Like it mate. like it

Thinking of having that on a t shirt with city crest on.

This will be put to bed one way or the other by then.

Yes, and i really hope Hughes returns from Germany to try to seal the deal if chelsea allow us to talk to terry,it would make terry feel more important and welcomed at city

Good point. Somehow i think he already knows. somebody has sold it to him big time....and for a long time

I still hope we don't sign him. Opta stats suggest Chelski have done better without him in the side, so we'd be paying shed loads to an 'orrible chav who ain't even the "Superb leader and centre half" that many think he is (on Fifa 09):

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11662_5417669,00.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528, ... 69,00.html</a>

I don't think he wants to stay at Chelski. Too much stuff is being said that hasn't been denied. If Terry doesn't knock this story down soon, the Chelski fans will turn big style. Too many papers are carrying it for it to go unnoticed.

Yes, but they still concede around 0.3 goals less than without him in the team

Statistics are just "spin" they are made out this way for a Chelsea bias.
Respect your opinion, but still think he is one hell of a player. Plus i think people will look back and say that City finally arrived with the big players the day Terry arrived. just my opinion tho

I assume that signing the captain of England is beneath you because he didn't go to a University? Why not get Michelle Vonk back then as he he has a BSc in fine arts??

Opta my ass.

The games he didn't play in were mostly aginst weaker teams so he was kept frsh for chimps league and big games. Stats are great until examined closely!!

He hasn't got a first class Cambridge degree in Latin either, which is enough to put anyone off.
