Maybe the story about Micah throwing a strop was overe the fact he knew we were in for Johnson. As a D.J myself i know for sure DJ Micah really is a showboat too far!!

Maybe Hughes has had enough of Micah's strops and that's why he's looking elsewhere?

I hope not, I really think Micah is still a top top prospect how could easily eclipse a player of Johnson's calibre.

It was only a few short years ago (when Johnson was Micahs age) that people were very critical of his football nous.

I think if we can nab Johnson and Toure (Kolo), we would be pretty well covered at the back (maybe a left sided defender also)

It was only a few short years ago (when Johnson was Micahs age) that people were very critical of his football nous.

He as allways had very good technical ability not just braun and pace! his problems from when he was younger were his immaturity issues which he openly admits held his career back. You can tell he has grown up and as such his performances have improved greatly.

Micah is good but doesn't have a brain imo.

The difference between the top 4 and the rest is not just the quality of the 1st 11, but the their 1st team pool.

We need a pool of players. IF City were to buy Johnson, it doesn't mean that Richards would move on. Richards is one of the best right backs in the country, and he's also a good centre-back. He will improve with experience.

Totally agree Marvin.

People have got to get used to the fact that we need more than one quality player in every position. It's simply not relevant whether Richards is "better" than Johnson or not. Simply put, we need them both AND Zab. With them and (say) Lescott we have cover at RB, CB AND midfield. Same applies upfront.

If all that mattered was the quality of your 1st 11, the redscouse would have walked the league.

I think Micah's developing his football brain, i believe he's been told to become a wingback and use his athletic ability going forward and back... We saw the teething problems of that last season.

I don't think rotation of defenders is a good thing... by all means roate the falir palyers but you want to keep your back four as stable and ever present as possible. Having Micah Johnson and Zab with the possibility of Onuoha being able to cover that position doesnt work for me.

Hopefully the Lesscot and Micah deal was rubbish.
