Johnson MUST replace Balotelli

Both players have a lot to learn. A Johnson I dont think has the game yet to be a first team pick. Yes he made a good run but it was agreat pass from Silva that made the goal which Johnson took well. Its the play that Silva does is what Johnson needs to work on before he can brake into the starting line up. No doubt he will be starting the Juve game so go out and prove a point there.

No question Balo has immense talent, but that is not what this thread is about.

It's about playing him when he refuses to celebrate when we score, mopes around like Kevin from Kevin and Perry when he loses the ball, decides when he can and can't be arsed to track back etc.

Ive watched 2 world cups in recent decades where rag arseholes have cost England matches with their arrogance and petulance. It's something I have always hated the rags for and I've never associated that type of prick with City. Unfortunately now we have one of our own.

Regardless of his goal scoring record against Poznan etc, what kind of message does it send out to our young players that a player gets to act like an arsehole and keep his place in the team.

Johnson plays for City. Balotelli plays for himself.

Ric should rename the forum Balomoon.
Yes, I have been listening to other tossers trying to tell me Yaya is shit for the last month or so. Can't hear them so well at the moment. Shut up all moaning c***s we won we were quite good and if i'm not mistaken we are joint top tonight.

Read the first 4 pages, can't be fucked to read the rest.

I've supported Balotelli and my posts will back that up, but today he was an embarrassment. 2 excellent chances, shame they went straight off a defenders boot. Dust your shoulders off, son!

Another nice goal from Johnson, that's why Mancini brings him off the bench.

as for the OP, absolutely silly. You have to stand by your players and give them support when they lack it. It looked like Balo's confidence was rocked and he needs to start every game to show that we/Mancini have confidence in him.

The last couple of times AJ has played, Sub or start, he has really worked hard to prove a point. Not just running around 3 or 4 players but simple passes, making good runs, tracking back. His attitude has changed a little to me and he as gotten 2 goals in 2 so good job. and while balotelli has the talent to be one of the best, unless he changes his attitude he wont be one of the best.

Today i saw him get fouled once. Yet he was on the ground about 10 times, and having kiddy fits at the referees. He is a big lad there is no reason why he shouldn't just get back up and get on with it. He also has a retaliation problem too going after the player that he thinks just fouled him and doing something rash. Until his attitude improves i think whoever is on the best form should start in his place. Unless he proves somehow that he wont be a liability with cards and dissent.

I hope Johnno will get the start next week because hes having a good little run right now, but you can also throw Jo in the category because hes someone who just works for the team and doesn't complain atm and hats off to him for that

I would rather give Johnson the occasional start and have him as an impact sub off the bench.

Did anyone else see how Mancini frantically waved at AJ to make the run that resulted in the goal? Its like he created that goal from the touchline. Anyway some of the arguments against Balo are pathetic, drop him because he doesn't celebrate goals like a maniac? fuckin right!

Johnson is by far the greediest player at City.
