Another goal today from the bench from Johnson, another toys out of the pram petulant display from Balotelli.

No doubt Balotelli has talent, but Johnson is not only playing better but will put in more for our club, and is less of a red card risk every week.

Balotelli needs to improve his attitude or fuck off.

If Johnson doesn't replace him, he is going to fuck off to another club and I would hate to lose one of England's brightest young stars for the sake of stroking Balotelli's over-inflated ego.

what the hell is he doing here anyway? mancini should take the rap for that and rightly so. 20 odd million someone is having a laugh all the way. this prat balotti is a time bomb, he is so primitive its unreal. i dont give a fook if people say but hes one for the future. fact is hes not for now when he should be. totally agree mate, fook off!!

Any chance ric could implement a system where people with an IQ of less than 8 can't access the site?

I'm afraid I have to agree with this, I'm all for giving him a chance but I think he is another Robinho, not in size but attitude, it's now December he's been training for months at this type of football, he's played a few games he's either thick as fuck or doesn't give a fuck I tend to go for the latter, football is not rocket science if he hasn't sussed out he isn't going to get anything by throwing his dummy out then he needs to go back to the continent. Today he threw a tantrum like Drogba did a few seasons ago, it was laughable, I don't question his ability, but as a team mate I'd look at this guy and wonder what I'm doing wrong that I can't get in the team if this guy can, all I can say is Adebayor must have a really bad attitude if he can't get in past Balotelli. It's a team game and an individuals attitude can affect it greatly, and looking at some of the other players and the way he was arguing with them and whinging to the manager he's a bad apple I'm afraid.
I think his behaviour is shocking, and I cant see others being happy with him. But the team is doing well now, if the team is not doing well, the people defending him now will turn on him.....thats football. But one thing that has been consistent is his attitude game in game out. he focuses way too much on irrelevant stuff. The boys talent is clear....but talent alone doesnt make you a great player and he needs to change if he wanna be one of the best in the world

Oh do shut up.

Balo didn't rise to the shit last week in 2 games so you are only showing your ignorance.

Can't you sod off our board and focus your captain leaving in June?

-- Sat Dec 11, 2010 7:44 pm --

United fans are out in force tonight I see.

Writing about yourself then pal. writing in red means to me that you are rag through and through, LMAO

No - it highlights total bollocks, and does it well.

While some of the criticism of Mario on here is a bit hysterical, some of those defending him have also clearly got the blinkers on. We can't have team selection, including substitutions, dictated by one individual's behavioural problems. Make no mistake, he would have been sent off today if he wasn't hooked. Mancini was clearly boiling with anger. We got away with it today because we were winning against a crap, crap team, but can we risk a one-man psychiatric meltdown in bigger games against better opposition?
As a drama magnet, he will increasingly become a target for winding up by opponents and will also become a marked man among referees, just continuing the cycle. We all remember Clattenburg's utterly corrupt behaviour towards Bellamy away at Bolton last year, for example.
He is a major, major talent but I honestly don't know whether I believe he will win us trophies through his undoubted brilliance and goals, or end up costing us the chance of trophies through red cards and suspensions.
I really hope Mancini can rein him because he has the tools to be the best striker on the planet. But just because we won easily today doesn't mean we should ignore the elephant in the room.

It's irritating sometimes but today I can't blame him. I saw again few situations of the match and been continuosly provocated by the defenders while the referee pretending not see. And first time happen to see a referee to come so from far just to book him for solo complaining after the nth foul ... Just ridicolous.
His performance tonight not been brilliant but still been capable to go near the scoring at least 3 times, and keeping at least 1-2 defender occupied on controlling him creating space for Yaya and Silva.
Yes he was to nervous but fortunately we have Bobby that rightly spare him for the next matches.
I like Balo and I trust Bobby !

Try giving the lad some time and space to adapt to a new country, league, physical quick game. Talk about wanting instant results, he needs time to mature both as a player and person. We have a potential world superstar and all the media and the sheep who follow them want to do is belittle him and highlight his faults. It really does piss me off . Not long ago it was Yaya, and Silva who were not up to the demands of the premiership, it really is laughable.

mario will be great for us i'm sure of it, but ffs he needs to grow up. it's gonna get ridiculous if everytime we have to sub him after a booking cos we won't think he will last the full 90.

This^

Grow up Mario....You are 20 not 10, ffs!

It's not rocket science to understand you are no use to anyone in the dressing room......

Fortunately, games are won on the pitch, where he seems to be a huge use to the team.

Can't see Balotelli ever changing, which is a shame as he'll never achieve what he could have in the game if he doesn't change

Are you for fuckin real? He's 20 years old, played 7 games and scored 5 goals. Seriously cant believe the attitude of some of our so called 'fans'. Fuck off and support Cardiff.

Diddums, people have differing opinions, shock & horror.
Oh yeah, go fuck yourself you fucking knobhead

Balotelli is a class act.

The problem today was the refereeing. Yes he was reacting but he was getting fouled constantly and it seems the refs at the minute are loving seeing him get wound up.

Some of the decisions against him were baffling, not least the "handball" which was off the top of his shoulder. He wasnt allowed any momentum today from Dowd. He kept penalising him constantly so in the end it was the right decision to sub him off.

I don't care about Balo's personality.

As long as he's scoring and not diving everywhere I couldn't care less.
