I must admit in all my time watching City I've never seen a player like Balotteli. He just seems so disinterested. Even when he scores he doesn't celebrate. This afternoon even Kolo Toure had a go at him. I've no doubt he has talent but surely that attitude will effect the team morale. No player is bigger then the club. He either wants to be at the club or he doesn't.
Compare his attitude with that of Silva. He works his socks off and shows his passion when we score.
It doesn't matter how good he is he needs to either buckle down or leave!

I agree with much of what you say, apart from the last bit. It DOES matter how good he is at the end of the day, because getting goals is all he is there for.

I'm just sick to death of fans writing our players off after 7 games! Sure he's petulant at the moment but he's played 7 games. There's more than a healthy chance that he'll sort his ways out and go on to be the best player in the world but it won't happen if we write him off so bloody early. Give the lad a chance! He ain't use to the way the game is played here yet but mancini will sort it out, the same goes for Milner!

I agree he has a great talent and unbelievable potential but your only as good as your last game and theres always someone who'll come in and do a job.Like I say I really hope he succeeds but I worry about the rest of the team and how they will re-act, espicially now we are playing like a team.

Look mate, speak for yourself, there are non City fans on here who like to shit stir at the least opportunity, if you're not one of them, you won't be bothered being called a rag. Arshavin's attitude stinks as well at times, why don't you go discuss that?

Why do you say this, we are criticising a player not the team, just because we have an opinion against one of our players doesnt make us rags, I don't see the game through blue tinted glasses I'm realistic about things, the attitude the guy displays is terrible, do I think Johnson is a better technical player, no, better attitude, slightly, could he replace him in the team, if both played at their peak, no, but I won't sit here an blow sunshine up someone arse because they wear blue. Yes the team won and it was a great result but that was not the original question of this thread, if people cant express their opinions without been called a rag, then maybe the rules should be changed so that people can only express their opinions as long as it's not negative!!
