Both played great last night though!

Milner really does give him a run for his money. Both did the business last night. Milner brought an energy to the middle of the park that Barry will never bring!

Played a lovely chipped pass forward for the Dzeko chance in the first half (although there were a couple of times he tried it again and it didn't come off).

I actually think he's better on the ball than he's given credit for on here, but he's a defender first and foremost and I'm quite happy for him to concentrate on doing what he's paid to do. Most top teams have an out and out defender alongside a more creative centre back as a central defensive pairing (Vidic, Terry, Skrtel (of a couple of years back))

This boy deserves a crack next season as he has been nothing but superb since kolo started taking dietery supplements. Obviously kolo will be out for a while so we need a back up but jo-lo has been amazing

I agree that first and foremost he is a defender however I dont think it will wash with Mancini. I fully expect us to sign another centre back in the Summer.
