Jon Venables sentenced to 40 months.

I was in agreement with them getting new identities as they would have been hunted down and had no chance of any sort of future if not.
I based this opinion on the hope that they could be rehabilitated given their ages and if removed from the toxic environment that they were brought up in.

It is quite clear that this is not working with Venables and the fact the judge is calling him a risk to children is highly concerning, he has been given the opportunity to change his life and has spurned the chances given. As an adult who must now fully understand the consequences of his actions I feel the right to anonymity he has enjoyed should be revoked.

Can you imagine if he had actually sexualy assaulted a child, it doesn't bare thinking about. The shitstorm that would follow would be unreal.

Why do you think his identity should be revealed now, what would be achieved by it?
 
He’s a bastard but I don’t believe his identity should be revealed simply because of the risk of innocent people being wrongly targeted and the obvious risks of more violent crimes being committed. 3 years 4 months I agree doesn’t sound a lot.
