According to the BBC, Toon have agreed a fee for Andros Townsend.

Like Shelvey, he seems to have lost his way and this could be a great way to reignite his career.

Townsend should be a good signing for Newcastle. I like him, he's got good quality in the final third and makes things happen.

Shelvey and Townsend both probably make the England squad if they're on top form, so Newcastle realistically aren't going to sign much better than that.

Townsend is one of the best dribblers in the premier league, he gets himself into good positions with his dribbling ability, then his decision making is pretty bad in the final 3rd.
