How can you say none is arsed that he used to play for that lot. Have you read this thread? It would be 100 pages tops if people were not complaining about his past.

Evans being an ex rag is not the fundamental reason I can't get my head around this. He is a decent defender and if we were picking him up for less than 10 million, or he was 21 and had the potential to grow into a great player, like michael keane, I'd be happy. As others have pointed out though he has played in a defensive minded team for 2 years which has suited his game. I'd still rather give Mangala or Tosin the gig. Anyway, if he signs i'll be right behind him as i'll want the rag c%$t to do well!!!!

Well I assume we did our homework on the other CBs we've signed in recent years but given that it still appears to be a problem position if Vinny is missing it seems reasonable enough to be sceptical of the quality of the homework.

Looks like this one is happening based on Pulis' comments today combined with what Chris Brunt said about Evans thinking about it. I hope we'll all support him when he arrives, regardless of what you all may think of him now.
