You're absolutely right. This is the exact reason we are not in for VVD, clueless.

If we buy Evans, mid way through the season we'll have 3 CBs over the age of 30 all with little pace. We play a high line so pacey attackers fly right by the likes of Otamendi and Evans, everyone will be saying our defense is terrible. Sorry but the club is to blame, so obvious what we need but we have to do the opposite. Two older CBs? You know what let's make it three. Three CBs ranging from little to no pace, doesn't matter, Evans has great positioning. FFS.

But Bluemoon ranting rarely translates to the match day, especially when things are going well. It's a cliché, but fans are utterly fickle and will get behind him if he does a job for us.

I am personally hoping that ( if he signs ) he will prove to be a good signing , and fans get right behind him despite his Rag credentials.
