Not being funny but how is this our fault ? We don't do the negotiating do we. It seems city bid £18m it was rejected and we left it at that. Yes, but while he was at the Etihad he passed his medical and signed a contract. If the deal doesn't go through his agent will tear up the contract.

Maybe our £18m offer was what we actually valued him at? I am hoping that we have seen the price head towards £30m and we have walked away.
