In this case I believe Evans was cleared of the charges. If one of our players was accused of rape I think we'd for the most part adopt an 'innocent until proven guilty' policy too.

He's not as bad as some are making out but he's hardly an improvement. I think we need another CB but if we're talking about Evans quality I would rather just keep Mangala or give Tosin a shot. He also turns 30 in a few months so it's not like he's got some untapped potential hidden away...just don't understand this at all.

On a serious note, 20 million for him is fucking mental! How often would he be expected to play as 4th choice? Can't be that often. If Tosin can't do that then why all the fuss about him signing a new deal?
