You're missing the point. He's 4th choice. He's not coming in to play ahead of Otamendi or Stones. So how many top class experienced CB's do you know who'll come in and be 4th choice ? We need to be realistic. The choices are Evans or Gibson from Boro by the sounds of things.

Anyway it's MUCH more important we sign another forward. If signing Evans means the money for Mbappe or Sanchez i'll be getting behind it all day long.

Don't mind the idea of this - he's experienced and would be a decent Kolarov replacement. We could do a lot worse. Would also leave us significantly more funds for a forward.
