Yaya showed Sunday, how those little passes over the top suit our style.
100%, we frequently have 4 or 5 speedy players on the edges of the box that won't have time to get to a whipped cross unless it's inch perfect but have plenty of time to get onto a dinked through ball. They're terrible for keepers as well as if they misjudge it at all it's a penalty or an open net 9 times from 10.

So you're implying to us that a DLP with a long passing range would actually be good for us, and the obvious corollary that Fernandinho is probably lacking in that?

Funny how the tide turns in a few weeks.

A DLP is likely to be a good option for us. Pep had Alonso at Bayern.

KDB could play as a DLP but I think that would be a waste; might suit him later in his career though.

Tbf, looks like Pep and his staff themselves have changed their opinion since Jan.
Moved from targets like Fred and Ndombele to a Busquets-style midfield controller. Which is understandable, those Pool games have left a lot of food for thought.

Phew! It took me a while to get 'DLP'. Sounds like something out of the DSM V. :(
