Jorginho

Ah well if thats to be believed then another fucker who`s only interested in money.
Or, maybe Napoli have accepted the fee Chelsea offered and City were still haggling, and they have matched City’s package for Jorginho? Also, he can be assured of 100% playing time from Sarri, if they go as a package, and Jorginho’s missus HAS TO be more enamored of a leafy green multimillion pound house in West London versus Manc.

It’s not over until it’s over. Until I see him in front of a Chelsea sponsorship board, signing his new contract with Chelsea, there is hope. Then again, with the Ronaldo money go round about to happen, who knows who is about to become available in the £50M-ish range?!

Who are the alternatives then? Names we've already been linked with:

Kovacic
Lemina
Pjanic
Ndombele
Weigl
Milinkovic Savic
Seri

Any more for any more?
Kovacic doesn’t have a €50 it’s actually €300M with a contract till 2021. The new manager wants to keep him and Flo Perez wants him to replace Modric eventually.

Lemina is just not good enough.

Pjanic- reports that Chelsea are signing Higuain and Rugani which essentially pays for Ronaldo and they don’t want to sell Pjanic but would listen to offers of €100M or more.

Aulas from Lyon said he wasn’t selling Ndombele at any price and he’s the same type of director as ADL.

Weigl- Young but has regressed due to injury.

Milinkovic Savic - Lazio haven’t budged from their ridiculous figure of €150M

Seri may may not be heading to Fulham of all clubs which should tell you all you need to know about his true level.

Many of the players cost more than what we were willing to spend on Jorginho or just not for sale at all.

Chelsea don't exactly suffer any great drought of success or silverware.

Players in Jorginho's position also don't just sign for one year.

If he goes to Chelsea it may, God forbid for some folk, just mean the club made a teeny tiny cock up (ssssssssh, hush!) and Chelsea took advantage to sign a good player that we clearly would like to sign as well.

This whole "100% committed" thing is a nice mantra to poster around the dressing room but if a player decides to sign for a club then that club will have their 100% commitment regardless. It's not like if he chooses Chelsea he's not arsed about them and just uprooting his family and life for shits and giggles. It's no different to other deflecting business jargon.

Of course he could also wind up here anyway so we'll just have to wait and see.
Shhhhh you just don't understand the complexity of these deals how dare you say the club made a mistake on something when your not a transfer expert yourself. ;)

Am I daft or are there hardly any reports regarding Jorginho and Sarri coming from English sources? It all seems to be coming from Italy, which leaves the possibility of ADL leaking this to get City to pay up.

I am sure the farewell dinner was booked ages ago and was even mentioned by city watch, not so sure it’s a definite sign he’s going to Chelsea.
And to be honest I find the entire thing bizarre. Italian sources are all briefing of Chelsea gazumping us but D-day is looming. If I didn’t know better I’d say it’s all part of the ADL circus.
Ahh well, c’est la vie. Let’s just hope our back up isn’t akin to the Rodwell incident. What’s Henderson doing?

I would rather go for Ndombele or Rabiot but i still believe we will get Pep`s man, who would you rather play for, after all how many managers have chelsea had in the last decade?, just who will be there at the end of the season?

Possible silver lining - if another deep lying midfielder isn’t brought in and Gundo pretty much assumes that role behind Dinho, shouldn’t that mean Foden would be in line for more minutes behind Silva/Kev?
