We've all got our own opinions mate....and its the not knowing that keeps this thread going strong!;) I agree, we can blame the rags for setting the market so high. If we dont pay it, someone else will and thats looking like Chelsea(if reports are correct) at this moment in time. The problem is, anyone else we look at with the same talent level is unlikely to be much cheaper so in my view, go with the guy that your scouting team just spent the last 6months doing work on.... Hopefully it wont go on much longer!;)

Your right mate....but I think you could say that about most footballers these days. Fern looked tired over the world cup and will get little rest this summer. Lets hope we working on another name if these reports are true...

Chelsea don't exactly suffer any great drought of success or silverware.

Players in Jorginho's position also don't just sign for one year.

If he goes to Chelsea it may, God forbid for some folk, just mean the club made a teeny tiny cock up (ssssssssh, hush!) and Chelsea took advantage to sign a good player that we clearly would like to sign as well.

This whole "100% committed" thing is a nice mantra to poster around the dressing room but if a player decides to sign for a club then that club will have their 100% commitment regardless. It's not like if he chooses Chelsea he's not arsed about them and just uprooting his family and life for shits and giggles. It's no different to other deflecting business jargon.

Of course he could also wind up here anyway so we'll just have to wait and see.
