I am.always amazed at how many bluemooners are invited into the boardrooms to observe negotiations!
And make unhelpful suggestions!

I didnt mean it in a negative way i just saying based on previous transfer experience we will eventually pay up and there is no need to worry about not getting him.And why do you think that is, because they are complicated with many parties involved or they are piss easy and our club are rubbish at it ? How many teams have completed all their transfers because I'm fairly confident this time next week we will be the only team finished done and dusted ?
From what I can gather from people who have watched him play, he is more positionally aware, more composed on the ball and his passing range is better. As i cant say what this guy does. in terms of not seeing him play. what does he give us that Fred wont Not querying PEP. but i did see the value in signing Fred
He is replacing Yaya. Jurghino is significantly better than Yaya defensively. And passes just as well as the prime Yaya did. Minus the attacking edge. How is that a problem? But, we did well against the bus parkers. Mahrez is being brought in to help in this regard too. Why Jorginho is a valid question if he is more of a Gundogan than a Fernandinho.

And for what it's worth, we never lost a game with Gundogan at DM this season
Make of that what you may.
Ok. That I agree with.I don’t recall anyone saying that when he signed. However, many on here - myself included - were underwhelmed by his performances during the first half of the season.
Agree mate but in my opinion, its Fern we should be looking at getting cover/long term replacement for, not Yaya......Yaya hardly had any game time last season, so when looking at the big picture, isnt a big impact him leaving. For me, we should be looking at someone like Fred, who would be a more direct cover/replacement for Fern. Fern is 33yrs old and its a risk for us to expect him to play the same amount of minutes as last season....
I remember complaints about him not being fast enough to play wide and often slowing us down. But before buying him, there were no complaints I can remember.Dax fellow Blues were saying I'm not sure with Bernardo, he's slow, he doesn't score enough etc etc, I'm not having a go, I'm just pointing out what some were saying and said before and after he arrived, now the same is being said about Jorginho, you wait this guy is going to be excellent @ City.
Apologies, misunderstood.I didnt mean it in a negative way i just saying based on previous transfer experience we will eventually pay up and there is no need to worry about not getting him.
Seems likely that France Football would be pretty on the ball about two English sides bidding for a Brazilian playing in Ukraine.Only said this afternoon that I felt other DM rumours would start with Napoli playing hard ball......

Manchester United & Manchester City have both bid €60m including bonuses for Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred, according to France Football http://goo.gl/MepfXu
Gundy is going nowhere and its JUNE 2NDWould rather we looked at other options. Said before that this was never going to be completed quickly. It has the potential to drag on all summer, but I think we’ll ultimately pull out.
We could do with signing two midfielders really. One to play Fernandinho’s role and one to replace Gundogan. Jorginho always looked more like the latter to me.
Well there are similarities. And why do you think that is, because they are complicated with many parties involved or they are piss easy and our club are rubbish at it ? Yes I bet Christmas time is awful at theirsI am.always amazed at how many bluemooners are invited into the boardrooms to observe negotiations!
It does confuse me a bit that Jorginho's alternative would be Fred.
Does Fred even have the same traits, especially in terms of passing?
He's obviously not an alternative, Weigl could be the one. I think it's just BS from France Football. According to Di Marzio, Fred to rags is a done deal.It does confuse me a bit that Jorginho's alternative would be Fred.
