We are beung linked with jorginiho but got a sneaky feeling it could be diawarra weve been watching .yaya retires and we find perfect replacement.
He has 'some' passing ability. But doesn't have 'THE' passing ability or vision of Jorghino. It's not even close. They are far far far apart in thoae 2 categories..Jorginho is too weak. Napoli want to sell him because they know they have someone better in diawara. Diawara should be the player targeted, not Jorginho. He has the strength, pace, passing ability and is very young so can improve immensely under Pep

Well said. It's football, not athletics. The ability to solve little tactical 'riddles' in a fraction of a second is what separates the best from the rest.He has 'some' passing ability. I don't know why you'd paper over that like it's nothing. It's the whole fucking CAKE!

Not only is it the cake, it’s the whole fucking point of the game in Peps eyes.
Stop being obtuse. In a response to a claim of why a poster thinks we should get Diawara over Jorghino, and he argues they both can pass, but Diawara is more athletic, stronger and faster misses the point. The reason why Pep would want Jorghino over Diawara is because Jorghino is far superior passing the ball and his vision is far superior. There is too much one sided opinion on this.
Jorginho is actually pretty good at making interceptions & breaking up play, as well as passing the ball, which is why Pep has been looking at players who can do that, to play that position, & has played Fernandinho there as first choice for two years, rather than signing a purely passing player, or just putting David or Bernardo Silva there, which he could do on any given day, if passing the ball was the 'whole' cake.
It 100% clearly isn't.

The reason we know that's the 'Cake' is because Diawara is actually better at all the other stuff. So if Pep wants Jorghino, in spite of Diawara being more athletic, stronger, bigger and has more pace- it's because none of those attrivuatt are the 'Key' attribute that tilts the choice..
Hence why one is inclined to think that must be the CAKE. This however doesn't suggest one is arguing Jorghino can't tackle or intercept. To even suggest that's been proposed is silly.
You are posting this pedantic drivel just as we get 100 points ?
Get a fucking life.

Last person that said this was a itk on Twitter that deleated his/her account after he/her got the team selection wrong that “his source” told him was the starting 11No idea on specific names but City have started printing a load of No6 shirts ready for a signing
And you were taking the time to reply !
The expectation is that Gundogan plays more and David Silva less. Similarly, Jorghino plays more and Dihno less.Does anyone see us playing different personel in midfield if jorginho arrives? Given his ability to play as a deep playmaker I could see Gundogan havens bigger role next season making his late runs into the box.

Assuming both Ilkay (improves) and Jurghino hits the ground running.
In essence our middle 6 will be (Kevin, Ilkay and Jorghino as starters and David, Dihno and Foden as the backups)
That was my understanding too, and I assume that is why we are after another attacker who can rotate with Sane and Sterling. Getting Mahrez or Bailey would free up Bernado to focus more on rotating with David Silva. I think Pep already said that David Silva will play less next season.I always thought Bernardo was Silva's replacement. I agree he will play less but I am not sure he will be seen as backup same with Dhino I believe there will be a gradual handing over process so that maybe next year the roles will be reversed. It will enable Jorghino to acclimatise to prem league.
