I fucking love it how some people on here think they know better than Pep and the team.

Didn`t say I know better than Pep. He`s a genius, while I`m just a twat. I`m sure Pep knows how to use Jorginho, and he will probably do great here, but you can´t even argue that Jorginho is close to Fernandinho defensively. Jorginho is a superior passer, his positioning seems better from what I`ve seen and he`s better against high pressing teams. Two very different players

Premier league is a lot quicker that the Italian game so makes him look even better playing over there. Don’t get me wrong his passing abilty is great but apart from that reminds me a bit of gundogen slow but clever and just won’t be good enough for what we need or are looking for. Defo would of preferred Fabinho

Struggle with pressing? He plays for Napoli who play a similar pressing game.

Jorginho is a better fit for our system than Fabinho IMO.

How does the stat you posted lead you to that ? Unless I'm mis reading he won won possesion more than anyone else in Italy this season.

I don't care about stupid stats. All I know is I love Dinho, he plays for us, and hence is the best at what he does, especially at those hard tackles and running around the whole pitch.

Doesn't matter if that stat indicates that Jorginho can defend fairly well in addition to everything else he does well. All that matters is that I love my Dinho and he's the best.

Yes he will struggle deeply with our pressing game. After all Sarri's napoli play a completely different style of football.

Did anyone else watch him last night against Saudi Arabia? His passing and ball control was great, but he`s not very good defensively. He might be a better fit than Fernandinho to our system, but he`s nowhere near as good defensively as Dinho, and rarely wins headers too. Will be interesting to see how he does here, but for me his defending abilities could be a problem
