We have 3 alternatives,here are other 2 for Jorginho.
Lemina could be easy signing however Kovacic could be a great signing but it's impossible
 
At £60m it's deal off definitely and Kovacic is near impossible so yeah could be a long summer for CM/DM
 
Kovacic will surely be cheaper ?doesn't feature that much for Madrid but good player

They may be planning for him to be a replacement for Modric down the road. Has his work cut out for him to reach that level though.

Wow.....Lemina? talk about downgrade....the quick signings of Fabinho and Fred must have limited our options....Hopefully we just trying to put more pressure on Napoli.
 
Kovacic has a release clause 50m euros....but city apparently haven't even offered that for jorginho.....
 
I've hardly seen enough of Lemina or Kovacic to comment on their suitability as alternatives but I am doubtful that they're as good as Jorginho in terms of what he brings to the play etc.

With Fabinho going for ~£43m and Fred in a similar range, I think I can see why City would pull out if Napoli is asking for 60m with add-ons.
 
Lemina is a top top talent, but the question mark over him is how much he has between the ears: ie. Is he what we need intelligence wise, in positionin and vision etc. But I bet pep would make him something special.

Kovacic is a weird one, he plays like modric but he covers a lot of ground.

The alternatives are strange, seems like 3 completely different players to be honest.

Lemina would probably be 35-40 million
Kovacic would be over 60 for sure
