Jorginho

Why is anyone having a go at the player? He is owned by Napoli, its purely down to them whether they sell him or not, and for how much and to whom.

But they better get a move on, only 4 weeks of window left.

I was hoping this deal would have gone through by now. Nobody knows what the hold up is on here, however, not worried about Chelsea yet because Sari is not even their Manager yet.

The point of their rumoured interest in Jorginho is that he will be part of the package/deal that frees up Sarri. So if/when Sarri signs and we still don't have Jorginho, that's when we start to worry.

I'm really hoping it's all noise, but this feels so much like Sanchez in January. A few initial reports and then everyone is talking about it.

If the club gave him an ultimatum then let’s see his true intentions...Im more excited for Mahrez personally...
Considering it's us who've been dragging this for over a month, I think it's a bit rich to start questioning Jorginho's intentions.

'Intentions' or 'interests' work both ways. We aren't exactly bidding for slaves who have no needs or desires of their own.

End of the day he's a person too and if he's going to see City delay things for so long, I wouldn't blame him one bit if he chooses the next suitor if they're willing to wrap things up quickly, pay more, and offer the situation of living in London.

We can all then sit and clap at the 'principle' of standing firm over a few million quid, if we do end up cocking this up.

I personally think it's hilarious how we purportedly take a stance of only signing players who think City are the only worthwhile club to join in the world, as if we've already attained Real Madrid status. Don't get me wrong, I'd love a bit of swagger about us as a club, but there's a thin line between that and delusion.

If we lose out it's our fault.

F***ing about for a few million and clsuses.

I think the stance is justified, a mentally of no longer getting ripped off against players wanting to improve to a higher level. We’ve proved we are the best team in the PL we have the best coach and are likely only to improve. Stay with the project, join the project improve
