TBH I feel like if they are letting this slip...they have an idea or know someone is about to become available. Apart from that I sure as fuck hope its not kovacic but from our eyes i agree except i dont see anyone of quality or even worth the amount they listed for.

If he decides he wants to stay with his current manager (Sarri) and he is getting the pull of the Big City life from his missus, then we lose another one to Lahndahn. Such is life.

Always felt it was the 2019-20 season when we needed a Fernandinho replacement anyway, as we have numerous players who can play in there under Pep’s system, including the centre halves (Vinny started there for us!), Delph, Gundogan, KDB, etc...

That said, the window is shorter this year, so we need to do something fairly quickly if the player is going to bed in for the summer preseason. One of the great things about Jorginho and Mahrez as targets is they have not been in the WC, so they have the opport7nity to get a full preseason under their belt and play a serious role from the off, while others are getting much needed rest....KDB, Vinny, Sterling, Stones, Walker, Delph, Mendy!
