Well Italian press think he's going to Chelsea....unless we now willing to pay an extra 5-10mil all of a sudden I get the feeling this is done...hopefully we'll find out tomorrow. Lets hope the club still not waiting for that phone call...

Jorginho confessed he will “miss Napoli very much” as he flew out to complete his Chelsea transfer, soon joined by Maurizio Sarri.

The Italy international of Brazilian origin had been on the verge of a move to Manchester City, but changed his destination to Stamford Bridge, where Sarri is due to take over from Antonio Conte in a €65m double deal.

“I will miss Napoli very much after five years spent here… I remain forever bonded to this city,” the midfielder told CalcioNapoli24 as he jetted off to London today.

As he is going to join Chelsea and Coach Sarri is set to take over within days, Jorginho was asked to say hello to the ex-Napoli boss.

“I will do that for you!”

Jorginho was then asked who will take his place in the Napoli side under new Coach Carlo Ancelotti.

“Good question! I have no idea.”

He had one final farewell dinner with his friends in Naples on Tuesday night and it’s rumoured they gave him a care package for his new experience in England.

This included pasta, genuine Neapolitan tomatoes and a Topolino comic book written in English.
 
Maybe Chelsea have some crafty funding arrangement to offset the managerial cost of Sarri's acquisition and Conte's payoff, partly hidden in Jorginho's transfer fees? Two dodgy owners.
 
Is there any actual proof that he was in London.
Seems strange he’d be photographed at the Italian airport and then photo’d again in Milan but never in London.

I hope we never (attempt to) do a deal with Napoli again, ADLIAC

This has been a strange transfer from the start mate....Sure there is alot we dont know! I'm not sure why we would brief the press like that this morning(Jorginho no contact with Chelsea) when all the signs showed he was on the move and we hadnt heard from him. Leaving party in Napoli but they were still waiting for confirmation from the player?..If he was on way to Manchester you would think, his agent would have called to arrange taxi from the airport!;) Oh well, atleast it keeps the last 4 weeks of the window interesting...Still need a DM from somewhere!;)

I wasn't big fan of Jorginho, hopefully plan B will be Frenkie De Jong or Kovacic.
 
Can’t wrap my head around what’s gone on here was looking forward to his signature..ah well. I am sure we will be just fine with whoever we bring in.
 
This guy’s agent wouldn’t shut th fuck up until last week, now he’s gone radio silent. City are telling the press that they’ve not heard about any of this Chelsea business. Napoli are saying they had a deal wth city but now Jorginho wants Chelsea. I dunno, seems to me this spineless pussy and his agent struck a deal with Chelsea last week behind city’s back and didn’t have the least modicum of backbone to give them a call to let them know what’s happening. Fuck him, hope Terry nails his wife too.

Well, depending on what you believe mate....we might be moving onto plan c! 1st stop was Fred and if you believe reports, moved to Jorginho as felt he was a better option....and now??? Whatever happens I'm sure the club will find another option. They worked quickly to fill the need when we missed on Alves last summer, so no reason why they wont do that again.
 


Dunno if it was posted earlier, know he's not always 100% on transfers but thought i'd share, maybe City know more than they let on..or he's just chancing his luck 50/50 he's right / wrong :D

Sure we will find out by this week anyway.

This smells of something awful lol let’s hope this the last time we ever have to deal with this type of shit and filth again lol sounds shady as fuck and tbh with all the news that Chelsea have assets frozen right now Bc of abrom sounds like they were trying to use city to pay the fee for chelsea

Yep! Just like the opposite is what a City fan would say. Which is exactly my point. There are justifiable reasons on both sides.


But I get why folks are pissed at him. Personally, I'd say let's go get a better footballer.
