Yeah good point. Admirable stance to take, but player + agent won't wait forever to see if we can haggle couple of mill off the price, especially if there is another attractive offer on the table.

If we dont want other clubs to come into it we have to make the whole negotiating very quick.Which is the opposite of what Txiki is doing as he is getting the terms ready with the player find out if he is comitted and then tries to lower the price from that point even if it takes weeks to get it done.
