class performance today, meh, chaps?
And your point is?

Any excuse for a bit of criticism.

Pozo was never going to get game time unless it was absolutely necessary,too much at stake yesterday.

The experience of being around the squad is fine for now.

i think this lad should of come on, surely one young attacker wouldnt make us turn that bad! look at united, blackett, mcNair, also bringing on wilson in big games even they did when they were losing 1-0 against chelsea!

Yeh, the rags are really showing the proper way to run a football club at the moment. Jesus fucking wept.

Yesterday was so difficult it would have been hard to take any new risks. That's the annoying thing, whenever we have a kid on the bench they seem to be close games, so there's no easy opportunity to ease them in. And that's what you really want to do, ease them in instead of throwing them into the lion's den. If it was 3-1 at 75 minutes yesterday, maybe he would have had a chance. Hopefully Pozo can play in the FA Cup.

I've watched the odd movie with foreign subtitles and shaky handheld camera.

That match was too close and I understand why Pellers didn't put him on, the fact is however I'd highly doubt he, or any youth member, will get on the bench again this season barring a huge injury crisis which is quite the piss take tbh with the amount of emerging talent we have starting to show.

Pozo is the perfect player to have on the bench, his style of play really suits our first team and especially when we are winning and just want to keep the ball. Though his is like Silva in stature, he actually reminds me a lot of Jovetic in his style. He keeps the ball moving all the time, keeps it simple when the simple pass is on but always looks to make the pass quickly, within one or two touches and his understanding of the players around him is brilliant. Against CSKA, as per the video, he played several intricate passes with Barker, but whilst some will liken him to Silva - I think he's more like Jovetic or Nasri in that he also knows when it would be best to drop the shoulder and exploit the space he has himself to get a shot away and whilst the CSKA defending was appalling he was clinical with his finishing.

Great to see him get some minutes on the pitch and he's playing with some fantastic players. It would be great if he could get on a bit earlier against Everton if we have a comfortable lead because Silva is likely to be back soon and that's his spot likely gone.

Good to see the lad debut last night.

He's been in the squad a lot this season so it's obvious Pellegrini rates him.

Hopefully he can keep getting gametime when we're 2 or 3 goals up and in the FA Cup, just ease him in and see how he does.
