Jose Mourinho

He can shithouse his way into a League cup or a Europa League, of course he'll last two and half years at most before the players get sick and tired of his methods and style and he inevitably gets sacked but I can see Newcastle getting him out of desperation to finally win them a trophy.
I agree.

He'd win a Thursday night cup with them by shithousing his way to it. And that current squad is already prepared with that kind of player to do it.

Newcastle is perfect for him, he is an egomaniac and if he wins a trophy with them he'll never let anyone forget that he's the one who ended their trophy drought, that's what he did at Roma when he won that Conference thing trophy, and that's why he is so bitter about Spurs sacking him before a League cup final against us, he doesn't give a crap if he destroys the clubs in the long term, he only wants short term glory to brag about how legendary he is.

If Newcastle are smart they wouldn't go anywhere near him.

Interesting, why do you think that Alan?
It became personal and he got really angry and he’s been bitter ever since.

He went toe to toe with Pep’s Barca and which of the two sides is talked about now? Think he feels annoyed that he didn’t get the respect he deserved. That’s why he’s been demanding respect ever since. Imho.

Cheers.

I recall Pep handing Mourinho his arse In El Classico's.

I think he won the home one 4-0 then the away 5-1.

I think that's what shattered Jose. He thought he was the best.

You can see the Malcolm Allison influence on him. There's Shades of it in him.

I'll be gutted if this dour cheating bastard comes back to England. There are more than enough boring, ultra-defensive, diving, clogger teams in the league as it is without this shitstain coming back.

True he's always been a defence first manager.

People generally say look at his attacking team at Chelsea when you say that but the truth is he landed on his feet there, Ranieri built a great attacking team full of exciting players and Jose had to use those players that Roman Abramovic wanted.

Just look at the players he signed at Chelsea, here's his first season 04/05 signings...

Fully keep in mind that Cech and Robben were already wrapped up signings months earlier in February/March, Jose went for his old players and Drogba too while Abramovic also strangely threw Jarosik at him.

Here's the 05/06 signings...

SWP was Abramovic's dream signing from the year before he fell in love with his performances for us but Maureen never wanted him, instead Jose wanted to focus on solidifying the middle of the park and not get flair filled players Robben was enough for him, he ruined SWP in my opinion because he couldn't be arsed and stopped him being an all out attack player just like he ruined Joe Cole too.
He signed Diarra and Essien two players he thought would secure their defensive midfield for upto a decade, then also added Maniche a Porto old boy that he loved in the middle to join the other Portuguese players who had his back.

06/07 signings...

Shevchenko was another Abramovic vanity project Maureen absolutely despised it seeing it as a needless signing maybe it was, he wanted to keep his target man Drogba in the team to the extent he flat out refused to play Shevchenko as a striker, preferring to place him on the wing instead just so he could prove a point to Abramovic.
He also turned Ballack probably the best goalscoring midfielder in Europe behind Lampard into a defensive midfielder, something he also did with John Obi Mikel who before he signed for Chelsea was regarded one of the most promising attacking midfielders in world football.
He also signed Solomon Kalou at the time a flair filled forward and tried turning him into a ball playing winger sucking all the excitement out of his game, he added defenders Khalid Boulahrouz and Ashley Cole to solidify and add depth to the backline further.

His summer signings or lack of...

Mourinho was denied further defensive minded options with his input on signings ignored he didn't get anyone that he wanted to sign, then Abramovic sick of the defensive style decided to end Jose's tenure within a month of the summer transfer window closing, their relationship had broken down even before the previous season had ended and Roman supposedly kept Jose on in spite just to stop him getting a job in the summer, some say Maureen was unhappy at losing Robben but I prefer to think he was unhappy at not signing more defensive minded players.

It's undeniable that he did great job at Porto in a crazy gang sense he completely galvanised his players, although they had a couple skilled attacking players Jose has always been a defensive minded manager bar that Chelsea team he inherited in his first season, undisputedly his best ever team while in England that side was full of attacking flair and creativity because Claudio Ranieri put those players there, had Jose been hired a couple years earlier make no mistake they'd have had many more defensive minded players, I'm not going to say Jose Mourinho is a shit manager but he's boring as fuck he's genuinely what Tony Pulis would be if he had charisma and tactical knowledge.

I think he luckily landed on his feet at Inter long after Mancini had already instilled a winning mentality at the club, unfortunately for Bobby Manc they sacked him after he bizarrely offered his resignation as a bluff thinking they'd never fire him but they did, thankfully Mancini's complete and utter stupidly at that moment became our ultimate gain on our own journey to success.
Jose when taking over at Inter though had without doubt the best squad in Serie A with the right mix of experience and talent, then after that treble win he got the gig at Real where he became the ultra moaning bastard we all know him for now after Pep handed his arse to him.
