He will replace Phillips in the squad mate but can do a double pivot with Rodri, do DM on his own and full back if required. Whatever the plan, if he`s available Pep will want him.

Personally would much prefer we went all in on Joao Neves. I’m not saying I’m turning my nose up to Kimmich but Neves for me.

Kimmich was thrown into the deep end at Bayern. It's covered in "Pep Guardiola The Evolution". Left with no fit CBs he decides to use Kimmich there instead, and he was an absolute sponge as to what Pep wanted. He'll play anywhere and implement Pep's instructions. He's an absolutely brilliant player and there's no question he'd adapt fantastically well. So versatile, he's just what we need in my opinion.

However, i agree if City want him they'll get him. Not sure if signing a 29 year old Kimmich is the best move for Arsenal either, think i'd prefer a younger player like Zubimendi for that position.
I think Kovacic or Nunes have to go to make this transfer happen personally. Both signed int he summer so hard to imagine that.who goes if he comes in ?
Could make an argument if Bernie goes there’s more time for Nunes/Foden/KDB out wide but personally I think that’s why we are looking at Paqueta, quite publicly, for if Bernie goes.

They won't want Joao if they get Conte in as is now assumed. Well, I can't see Conte wanting him or him fitting well in a Conte side. If they end up getting Alonso, that could work out.Dream signing for me.
Maybe we can use Cancelo to get the deal done.

Solid but nothing more. Blind and Ake ahead of him so little room for attack and not much to defend as the Dutch generally went down the right or through the middle. Didn’t think he did that well against Mbappe in truth.At RB again. Did well against Mbappe and obviously helps in midfield. Not watching the Germany game tonight, so curious to hear how he does today.
Ake seems to have come through unscathed, thankfully.

Kimmich already knows how and what pep wants so it’s a no brainer is it if he fancies it and tells Bayern he wants out? Seems Lego head wants him as well but I genuinely don’t see him going to the rags
