Joshua Kimmich

One of the few (and i mean very few) players in the world that Pep trusts in that midfield. By all accounts a great pro, very experienced and makes us stronger.

He would also be the perfect training partner for Rico for the next few seasons.

If he is available, it isn't going to be a big fee and is just a no brainer.

Don’t disagree with the experience part but he feels like a ‘yesterday’ man.

Would prefer City to find the ‘next Kimmich’ rather than the one who seems to be approaching his twilight years.

Better for City to disrupt Bayern & their management in trying sign the likes of their ‘wunderkind’ Musiala even if there’s no truth to it.

I think Kimmich will be great for City. Agree about Musiala.

The next Kimmich could very well be our own Rico Lewis. A lot of similarities in their game.

What do you mean by disrupt them?

Given what's happening at Bayern this would be the best time to go after him. The way we play football and our stature in the game meaning he's apparently open to a move as well. Only thing that might change that is if Tuchel goes which could happen.

He provide great cover for Rodri until we find the next Kimmich.

Could Kimmich not help Rico in that sense?
No, Kimmich is 28 will have at least 5 years in him, Lewis can’t sit behind Rodri and Kimmich not getting game time, think we could lose Lewis if Kimmich came..
A few weeks ago I was all for Kimmich, now don’t think it’s a good idea.
Still if we do I‘ll go with it :)

Taken off 2-1 down today (they lost 3-2).

If Tuchel is in charge then I doubt it’ll be difficult to get him away. If Tuchel is (inevitably) sacked then likelihood is a new manager will turn things around and he’ll want to stay again.

One to keep an eye on, though, I reckon.

Mail have him in a “bust up” with Tucan after their latest defeat.

Hope the German rags keep the manager and leave kimmich looking for a new club.

Pretty sure he won’t be having many bust ups with Tuchel in the future seeing as only one of them will still be at the club.

Do you think Rico will make it here?
