If we dont find a buyer for Laporte or he decides to say, do we really need Gvardiol then. Or is he a significantly superior player than Laporte for us to put forward such a high outlay as quoted?
This fella can be the best left footed centre half in the World for the next decade. Stood out a mile in 2 international tournaments at a young age, quick, strong, good on the ball and a massive threat from set pieces. Get him in and worry about the rest later

True he has an aura about him I remember feeling exact the same about Sergio Ramos nearly a couple decades back, Gvardiol reminds me of Ramos too although Sergio Ramos is right footed and became a total dirty shithouse bastard, he never needed to be the dirty shithouse he became Ramos as he always had top defensive attributes from a very young age and stood out in a similar manner.
Gvardiol can and should be the best of his generation no matter who he joins, if he stays injury free keeps his feet firmly on the ground and strives to be the best nothing should stop him.

Laporte barely played this season. I reckon he is off. I love him, but for whatever reason, Pep didn't play him. I love Laporte, but Gvardiol excites me, so I wish Laporte all the best for his future. Let's bring in the Haaland of CBs!No doubts Garvidol is good but for me Laporte is fabulous player so not sure what has gone on there
i think the 3 in the back laporte doesnt have the pace to play the ake role. hes also been prone to an error in the CL. i dont think its coincidence that we win it with stones and dias being back in defence..... I like laporte but i do think its time for all parties to go opposite ways hes not one of the 'smiley faces' when hes not playing.No doubts Garvidol is good but for me Laporte is fabulous player so not sure what has gone on there

Just can’t get excited about this signing. Ake and Laporte imo are both more than good enough and the German league is very hit and miss with transfers. For every haaland you get a sancho.
