Nothing to do with the lad being a monster. Gvardiol still has to get used to playing alongside his new teamates. Team cohesion is still a thing regardless of supporters impatience.

It’s not impatience, it’s inevitability, this lad will play hundreds of games for City, I’m not saying he comes in from the start, I’m advocating him getting a few minutes in a pre season friendly to help with his integration, (if he signs in time) as for team cohesion we currently don’t have much, every season Pep rips it up, players come, some go, we’ve played a few friendlies for fitness with varying personnel & formations, Gvardiol isn’t walking into this squad a week before the CL final, it’s a week before the start of the season with a game still to play before it all starts
