I’m surprised Chelsea aren’t in for Laporte, they’re crying out for a decent centre back and he ticks every box for them.
I really like Laporte, he’s a top class defender, but Pep sees him every day in training and knows what he wants from his CBs and it’s clear he doesn't trust him in our new system.
Much like Cancelo and Bernardo I’m not sure where they’ll end up as they don’t seem to have too many options on the table.

There’s no evidence of le sulk. He keeps to himself and doesnt kick up a fuss, and is always reliable when called upon. At the end of 21/22 he was a warrior when everything was falling apart in defence, and I don’t think it’s fair to say anything negative about his mentality when there’s no proof of that.I’ll be disappointed to see Laporte leave. I’d go as far as to say he’s our most naturally gifted CB. Pity he’s had injury problems and has a bit of Le Sulk about him in the mentality department.

Sign him. Keep Laporte. Loan out Gomez to Burnley or similar club he will play 30 games at. Go for all 7 trophies.

LaPorte has been great for us but time to move on if Gvardiol comes in. G will freshen up the team, has size, pace and more importantly age on his side and from the admittedly little I’ve seen of him, he will solve the back 3 and back 4 left sided player problem with valid competition for Ake in both roles.
The only downside he has is that to me, phonetically, his name doesn’t really make sense.
