You’re right, I’m struggling to think of any bad signings we’ve made from the Bundesliga - Kompany, NDJ, KDB, Gundogan, Sane, Haaland, Akanji. Not a bad 7 aside team.For how notorious the bundesliga is amongst Premier League fans our clubs best signings have come from it. Minus a few obviously.

No doubt a good player but doesn’t the defence who’ve won a treble deserve their places in the pecking order?
Reminds me of the Kevin Bond signing which split up the really promising Cayon and Reid partnership in the early 80’s

He will be an excellent signing.
One small thing that’s bugging me though I know I sound negative but without a txiki special release clause we can’t negotiate normal transfer fees? Unless Leipzig are absolutely adamant on that €100M euro fee and the club feel that he’s absolutely worth it?
