To fully put into perspective just how very special Josko Gvardiol is, he's only one week to the day older than Taylor Harwood-Bellis.
THB in his own right is still a top defensive prospect who I fully expect to represent England at some point, he still probably won't make it here but he's at a young age where rightly nothing is expected as he's still growing.
That's the scary thing with Gvardiol he's unbelievably talented already only one week older than a future England international, he's really young despite his undoubted qualities and still growing too he's nowhere near the finished article.
People need to understand this about our motives for signing him instead moaning about the fee so give your head a shake, because he's already right now at the elite level so good all round and will vastly improve too there's a lot more to come.
This doesn't mean Josko won't make mistakes and you can't expect even 7/8 out of 10 performance every single week, as he's still learning we're simultaneously paying for his current top class ability and what he should defo become too, there's not been a defender in a longtime as good as him having the whole package at such a young age.
If Pep can work his magic on Gvardiol (which he will) then we might just have him for over a decade, we're such a hard club to want to want to leave the likes of Kun and Merlin demonstrated that when they stayed a decade.
Plenty love being here at this wonderful club and with Erling and Phil already in attack and midfield things could be looking very tasty, we might honestly have the best defender the best midfielder and the best striker in world football leading us to glory this coming generation, our owners are striving for as close to perfection as possible and aren't messing about, we aim to carry on the success we've had in past decade and signings like this (if/when done) show that.
