I suspect if we'd offered £150 mill for Kane, Levy would have happily snatched our hands off, once again we made an offer that we thought was fair and walked away when we determined he was overpriced.Not really. We bid twice for cucurella before we pulled out. THEN Chelsea came in. Levy
told us Kane wasn’t for sale. Kane’s brother misled us and we bid 75+25.
I've no doubt Tony Bloom had already been contacted by someone from Chelsea when we'd put our offer in, it all happened far too quickly in a small timeframe for it to be anything else.
