So it's Stones+Dias+Laporte + Mbete + occassionally Phillips/Rodri.

I've watched Mbete a lot, he's a prospect no more my opinion is we have better young CB's out on loan Callum Doyle and THB. I honestly don't think Pep will trust any of them.
And come on, because people have an opinion they've forgotten last year, Really? It's a forum you'll get many differing opinions and everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Obviously but going around saying 3 cbs, an academy product that’s not ready and dms as options at CB, when we all saw how the last season ended with Fernandinho at cb, even with 4, is kinda comical.
 
As far as I am aware City like Josko Gvardiol and are monitoring him closely. He is highly rated by those at City as Fabrizio said. However it would take a huge fee to convince Leipzig to sell. City are still searching for centre-backs as we speak. Tottenham were priced out of Gvardiol and moved onto Lenglet.

Not sure I agree with that. If Dias is fit he will start most if not all game of our main games. I don’t think it’s good to constantly rotate our centre backs either. Stones and Dias started most of the time the season before. You wouldn’t take out and in form centre back.

Having 4 first team centre backs doesn’t work in my opinion as one will always have less game time and be fourth choice. Ake only played really because of injury and the odd cup game. If those injuries hadn’t have happened he would have barely played

A younger player or older squad player for me. Otherwise one will end up leaving
