Still think we need to sell Laporte before we up our bid if we up our bid! We always seem to let a player go before brining another one in! Pep just doesn’t like a big squad!

Laporte can’t find suitors as he’s injury prone , didn’t play at all last season , has knee problems and is 29 years old. If you’re a buying club and you see that he hasn’t played last season, he has knee injuries and knee problems , your not going to offer 40 to 50 mil for him are you.

Also we do need a CB, especially a left sided one Ake,Laporte are both injury prone , Akes has had hamstring problems / fitness problems, playing 4 CBs a game you can’t rely on a 50/50 of if two of them are going to be fit.

That's a bit harsh. I agree we need to be patient but there comes a time when it might be wise to pull the plug. I assume our negotiation team are capable of knowing when that point has been reached. Time which is starting to slip by will tell.
